Research

Secured an esteemed opportunity as a Clinical Research Associate specializing in Stroke Research at Cambridge University, UK, under the guidance of Prof JC Baron. Regrettably, the pursuit of this role was hindered by the unforeseen early retirement of Prof Baron.

Dr. Burak Yuluğ as the Professor of the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, managed to become one of the three people elected from Turkey to become a member of the “European Stroke Organization (European Stroke Association)” Academy.

Dr. Yuluğ took an active role in determining the diagnosis and treatment algorithms and was also elected as Academic Editor for the journals “PlosOne” and “Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience” which are ranked among the highest journals in the latest Scopus World Academic Journal rankings.

Prof. Dr. Yuluğ; Finally, with his scientific studies, he was elected as the Turkish representative of the European Neurostimulation Association.

He was accepted as a member of Sigma Xi, which also includes names such as Nobel Prize-winning scientists Albert Einstein and Francis Crick. Prof. was nominated for membership by the Sigma Xi Commission for his research in the field of neuroscience and neurology. Dr. Yuluğ was selected as a member of this prestigious society.

Prof. Dr. Yuluğ currently continues his studies on degenerative dementias in close collaboration with doctoral students and neuroimaging research groups at the New York Feinstein Neuropsychiatry Institute, the Swedish Karolinska Institute and the Technical University of Munich.
